Brad Simma
joined Block Construction Services, LLC, as the Director
of Construction in June, 2003. He is a graduate of
Pittsburg State University’s School of Engineering and
has worked in the Engineering field since 2000. Brad is
certified by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) as a
Field Technician I, by the Kansas Department of
Transportation (KDOT) as a Certified Construction
Inspector, he is Midwest Concrete Industry Board
Certified, a member of American Concrete Institute, and
a member of American Institute of Architects.
Brad
previously worked at Affinis Corp. as a Project
Representative handling all aspects of Construction from
bidding to closeout. He was the lead
representative for two major thoroughfare projects for
the City of Shawnee and the City of Gardner, totaling
approximately $12 million. Brad was in charge of
the day to day activities of the site assuring schedules
and budget would be met.
In 2003
alone, Brad and the Block Construction Services team
managed over 75 projects totaling over $10
million.
