Community Involvement

Pine Ridge Business Park takes pride in the accomplishments of our Tenants, especially when it involves giving back to our Kansas City Community. If your business has a group or organization you sponsor and you would like us to assist you in your efforts, please let us know. We will take each request under consideration and will help get the word out to your fellow tenants.

 

Below are just a few examples of how our tenants get involved and donate their resources and their time.

 

Help the Marines provide gifts to needy children

November 21, 2011

Pine Ridge Business Park is sponsoring a Toys For Tots Drive November 28 - December 16. Collection boxes have been placed in several lobbies throughout the park for toy donations. If you would like to help bring the joy of the holidays to America's needy children, please bring new, unwrapped toys to our Toys for Tots collection boxes.

 

The boxes will be located at:
   • 2 Pine Ridge Plaza (8208 Melrose Dr.)
   • 5 Pine Ridge Plaza (8345 Lenexa Dr.)
   • Pine Ridge Management Office (8349 Melrose Dr.)
   • East and West Post Offices

 

 

 

Friends University Hosts America Recycles Day

November 15, 2011

Friends University is hosting a donation drive for Goodwill, on November 15th from 3:00 - 6:00pm. Donations can be dropped off at 8207 Melrose Drive.

Suggested Donations:
• Clothing, linens, shoes and accessories
• Bed and bath items
• Computers and components
• Small electronics and housewares
• Toys, games, tools, books, CD's and DVD's

Food Drive for Harvesters

October 12, 2011

Pine Ridge is organizing a Food Drive to benefit Harvesters. From October 17 – Novemeber 14, 2011, barrels will be located at various buildings throughout the park for the tenants to donate non-perishable food items.

 

The barrels will be located at:
• Four Pine Ridge – 8325 Lenexa Drive
• One Pine Ridge – 8207 Melrose Drive
• Five Pine Ridge – 8345 Lenexa Drive

• East Park Post Office – 10411 W. 84th Terrace
• West Park Post Office – 8021 Bond Street
 

 

Blood Drive at Henderson Engineers

JULY 15, 2011

Henderson Engineers, who recently celebrated 10 years as a tenant at Pine Ridge, had another successful blood drive last month and collected 33 units of the life-saving elixir. They will host another blood drive on 7/15/2011 from 10am to 2pm. Call 913-742- 5001 if you’d like to donate.

 

“Backpacks for Achievement” School Supply Drive

JULY 01, 2011

Block Real Estate Services, LLC is supporting the efforts of the non-profit organization, “Backpacks for Achievement.” The goal of this program is to provide a free backpack and school supplies to nearly 10,000 elementary school students enrolled in KCMSD as they start their first day of school.
